- #1. CHEESE OMLETTE
This is traditional omelette recipe with some cheese and veggies.

- Add all the ingredients in a bowl, give it a nice stir.
- Heat some oil in pan and spread the mixture. Cook both sides till golden brown.
- Serve it with whole wheat/multigrain toast.
- Try to involve your child in cooking process. My daughter loves to break the eggs and adding ingredients one by one and then stirring it. If you involve them in cooking, they realise the effort which goes in cooking and will never say no to it.

- Ingredients:
- Bread – 4 slices
- Eggs – 2
- Milk – 1/4th cup
- Sugar/honey – 2 tsp

- Olive oil – for shallow frying
- Method:
- Cut the sides of bread and cut each piece of bread into 4 pieces. As kids would love small pieces. It would be easy for them to have it with themselves.
- In a bowl add all above ingredients(except bread) and give it a whisk.
- Then, dip bread bread pieces one by one.
- Fry it on both sides. Make sure its cooked properly on each side and doesnt stick on pan.
- Serve hot to your little one.
- #3. EGG FRIED RICE
This is one of the comfort yet healthy and delicious recipe. Its quite simple and quick to make.
- Ingredients:
- 1 cup rice
- 1 small carrot -finely chopped
- ¼ small green capsicum- finely chopped
- ¼ red capsicum -finely chopped
- 1/4 red capsicum -finely chopped
- 2 eggs
- Olive oil- as required
- 1 small onion -chopped
- Spring onion- finely chopped
- ½ teaspoon -Vinegar
- Salt – to taste
- Pepper
We are using 3 capsicum green,red,yellow to make the dish look colorful and attractive. You can use green capsicum alone.
- Method:
- Cook the rice and keep it seprately.
- In a pan, heat some olive oil and fry onion and spring onion white.
- Once onion turns translucent add carrot. Once carrot is cooked, add capsicum and let it simmer for 2 mins.
- Break 2 eggs in a bowl and give it a whisk till it gives a froth. Add the eggs to pan with other vegetable.
- Stir the eggs and vegetable mix nicely.
- Add salt,pepper,vinegar.
- Sprinkle with green spring onion.
- #4. PANCAKE
All time favourite for all kids. Its quick, easy and a healthy recipe.
- Ingredients:
- 1 ½ cup- all purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon- sugar
- 1 ½ -cup milk
- 2 ½ teaspoon baking powder
- 2 tablespoon melted butter
- 1 egg
- Method:
- In a bowl, add all the above ingredients and mix well.
- Heat a pan with some oil and spread the above batter in circular direction.
- Fry on both sides till it gets cooked properly.
- Serve with kids favourite syrup.
- #5. EGG DROP CHICKEN SOUP
Most kids love soups because its easier for them to drink as compared to bite and chew. Moms too are happy as its healthy and goes in them without much fuss.
- Ingredients:
- 1 egg
- 1 bowl of chicken piece- finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon boiled sweet corn
- Olive oil 1 teaspoon
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Cornflour – 1 tablespoon
- Method:
- Take a large pan.
- Boil some water and add chicken pieces to it.
- Once the chicken pieces get tender, add olive oil and corns to it. Break the egg and add it slowly to pan.
- Give everything a boil and gentle stir. Finally sprinkle with salt and pepper and serve hot.
